TT squad to leave for Japan

KATHMANDU, April 24: A three-member Nepali table tennis squad is leaving for Yokohoma, Japan, on Sunday to participate in the world Table Tennis Tournament slated to be held there from April 28 to May 1.

Purusottam Bajracharya and Rakesh Maharjan will represent Nepal in the tournament while Pawan Thapa, the treasurer of All Nepal Table Tennis Association (ANTTA), will lead the squad.


Member Secretary of the National Sports Council Jeevan Ram Shrestha and the office bearers of ANTTA bade farewell to the squad amidst a function here on Friday.
