CAN announces squad for Hong Kong series, closed training session begins from today

KATHMANDU, Nov 7: Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced the preliminary squad for the four-nation T-20 series to be held in Hong Kong. CAN announced a 22-player squad for the Hong Kong series through a statement on Tuesday.


The preliminary Nepali team consists of players including Rubina Chhetri, Sita Ranamargar, Indu Barma, Sangita Rai, Jyoti Pandey, Puja Mahato, Roma Thapa, Ishwari Bista, Yakkan Khadka, Ruby Podar, Sabanam Rai, Ashmina Akharay, Khushi Dangol, Kritika Marasini, Kanchan Shrestha, Soni Pakhrin, Somu Bista, Apsari Begum, Kajal Shrestha, Manisha Chaudhary and Kabita Joshi.

The four-nation T20 series is being organized by Cricket Hong Kong China from November 15 to 19.


CAN made this decision on Monday to participate in the T20 series with the Nepali women's cricket team. They have now called the selected squad to commence closed training sessions, starting from today.
