CHITWAN, Feb 3: A person was injured when a rice-loaded truck skidded off the Number 2 bridge on the Narayangadh-Muglin road section this morning.

The injured is the truck driver, 33-year-old Sher Bahadur Gurung of Sunawal, Nawalparasi, the District Police Office Chitwan said.
The truck (Lu 1 Kha 6348) was going towards Pokhara from Bhairahawa when it met the accident at 7.30 am at Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality-5. Police said Gurung has received serious injuries in the mishap and is being treated at Purano Medical College in Chitwan.
