KATHMANDU, Sept 3: The online travel aggregator platform 'Trip Turbo' has officially launched, offering a comprehensive marketplace for various travel and tour services through its mobile app.

According to Shikher Prasai, the founder of Trip Turbo, users can easily book air tickets, bus tickets, hotel accommodations, and a wide range of adventure activities directly from the app. For adventure enthusiasts, the app provides booking options for activities like rafting, bungee jumping, paragliding, hot air ballooning, zip lining, ice skating, and more. Users can also enjoy discounts of up to Rs 6,000 on adventure bookings through Trip Turbo.

Trip Turbo, a sister company of Nataraj Tours and Travels, which has been active in the tourism industry for over five decades, offers a discount of Rs 300 on the first air ticket booking and Rs 200 on subsequent bookings through the app.

The Trip Turbo app, which was in beta since January 2024, is now fully operational. Payments for services can be made through Esewa, Khalti, mobile banking, and international cards such as Visa, MasterCard, UnionPay, and American Express.

Prasai mentioned that the app aims to reduce the gap between service providers and customers, support the tourism sector, and contribute to the conservation of Nepali culture and history. The platform will soon expand to include international flight tickets, hotel bookings, and other services.

The Trip Turbo app is available for download on the App Store for Apple users and the Play Store for Android users. Alternatively, services can also be accessed through Trip Turbo's official website at tripturbo.com.
