KATHMANDU, March 2: Nepal defeated Netherlands by six wickets in the match held today under the Tri-Nation T20 Series.
Chasing the target of 121 runs posted by Netherlands for the win, Nepal met the target in 15.2 overs losing four wickets.
For Nepal's victory, Captain Rohit Kumar Paudel collected the highest 46 runs in 34 balls. Similarly, Gulsan Jha gathered 38 runs, Kushal Bhurtel 12 and Ashif Sheikh eight runs.

Vivian Kingma of Netherlands took three wickets while Aryan Dutt one wicket.
Earlier, chosen to bat first after winning the toss at Kirtipur-based TU Cricket Ground, Netherlands had made 120 runs losing all wickets in 19.3 overs.
Netherland's Max O’Dowd collected the highest 31 runs in 24 balls while Timm van der Gugten 24 runs, Roelof van der Merwe 23 and Captain Scott Edwards 18 runs.
Pratish GC of Nepal took three wickets while Karan KC and Kushal Malla two wickets each and Dipendra Singh Airee one wicket.
With this win, Nepal's possibility of reaching the final is high. Nepal has collected four points in four matches.
Similarly, Netherlands has gathered four points from three matches. The Netherlands and Namibia are facing each other the next day.
