Training launched for Nepali women community broadcasters

KATHMANDU, Nov 27: World Association of Community Radio Broadcasters (AMARC Asia Pacific) and Association of Community Radio Broadcasters on Nepal (ACORAB) jointly launched the “Empowering Nepali women through community Radio” initiative.



The initiative consists of capacity building of women community broadcasters of Nepal through intensive programs of learning workshops.[break]



“The workshops are being led by Bianca Miglioretto, AMARC-Women International Network Asia Pacific representative along with highly experienced Nepali broadcasters.



Altogether 50 women broadcasters will receive the training in two workshops being held in Nawalparasi and Kathmandu,” said a statement issued by the organizers.
