Traffic resumes on Prithvi Highway

MUGLIN, June 18: The Prithvi Highway has come into operation. It remained shut since last night due to landslides at Ghopte Bhir and Thadekhola in Ichchakama-4 of Chitwan.

MUGLIN, June 18: The Prithvi Highway has come into operation. It remained shut since last night due to landslides at Ghopte Bhir and Thadekhola in Ichchakama-4 of Chitwan.


Two-way traffic had been closed since 11PM last night, according to the Area Police Office, Mugling. The landslide was removed and two-way traffic resumed from 2.30AM.

Prithvi Highway, the main highway connecting the federal capital Kathmandu with the rest of the country has been repeatedly obstructed due to landslides at Ghopte Bhir, located between Mugling and Kurintar.
