ATTARIYA, Oct 10: Traffic on the Bhimdatta Highway that remained obstructed due to incessant rain since October 6 has resumed. The highway was blocked due to a landslide at Godavari Municipality-4, Kailali district.
Security personnel, locals and drivers joined hands to open the highway by removing the landslide debris, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Bed Prakash Joshi, of Kailali District Police Office.
Vehicles have started operating on the highway now. The highway connects seven hilly districts of Sudurpaschim Province.
