The trader, identified as Birbhan Bista, 52, was returning home from his shop at Gobaraiya when he was attacked with sharp weapons. His body was found in a canal some 200 meters from his shop on Monday morning.
This is the seventh murder in Kanchanpur in the past three months. None of the murderers has been arrested yet.
