Tourists honored on World Tourism Day

POKHARA, Sept 27 : Foreign tourists arriving Pokhara via flights this morning received warm welcome on the occasion of the 38th World Tourism Day.

POKHARA, Sept 27 (RSS): Foreign tourists arriving Pokhara via flights this morning received warm welcome on the occasion of the 38th World Tourism Day. 



In coordination with the Pokhara Tourism Council, representatives from different 13 tourism organizations reached Pokhara Airport along with music band and wreath to welcome tourists landing via Yeti Airlines flight.

The Restaurant and Bar Association of Nepal (REBAN) is set to organize a mini street fest from local Barahi Chowk to Fishtail Gate this evening in honor of both domestic and foreign tourists in the town, the Association said. 



Likewise, TAN Pokhara has arranged visits of tourists arriving the town via air route today to all eight lakes inside the Pokhara-Lekhnath Metropolis, according to its Chair Hari Bhujel. 


Likewise, tourism entrepreneurs here honored domestic tourists making their entry to the today on the occasion of World Tourism Day. Though tourism entrepreneurs here became unable to organize a formal ceremony to honor their guests from due to the Dashain schedule, they received their guests on their own, as stated by Bhujel. 



Tourism entrepreneurs and hoteliers here were busy with offering hospitality to their guest since early morning. 


Presently, 100 foreign tourists on average enter the district. RSS
