On Sunday, CAAN made correspondence with the international airlines operating flights at TIA to reschedule 50 percent of their flights. The TIA will be closed for 10-hours daily for 5 months from mid-November for the expansion of Taxiway.
Currently, Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC), Himalaya Airlines, Air India, Bistara, China Southern, Air China, Cathay Pacific, SriLankan Air, Qatar Airways, Malaysia Airlines, Malindo Air, Thai Airways, Fly Dubai, Korean Air, Singapore Airlines, Bhutan Airways, Drukair Air and other airlines have been operating international flight services from the TIA.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers has made an action plan for the operation of the PRIA and GBIA with provisions for concessions.
