Top leaders to blame for deadlock: Oli

SAPTARI, Dec 28: CPN-UML senior leader KP Oli has said that the country couldn´t get a new prime minister for a long time due to top three leaders of the three major parties.



Six months have passed since the present government resigned because of the three leaders of the Unified CPN (Maoist), the Nepali Congress and the CPN-UML, but the country is still without a new prime minister, he said speaking at a press meet in Rajbiraj Tuesday.[break]



Accusing the three main leaders of the three parties of showing lust for power and deepening political crisis, he said they are the main hurdle to a way out.



The Unified CPN (Maoist) is wooing leaders of other parties "showing green grass", he said claiming that the new constitution cannot be drafted within the second deadline due to the Maoist party.



Saying that the peace process and statute drafting is moving at snail´s pace due to the Maoists, he claimed that the Maoist party is lengthening the present transition period.
