PM Dahal in consultation with top leaders for resolving parliament deadlock

Kathmandu, Aug 23: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has held discussions with the top leaders of the parties with national recognition on the topic of removing the deadlock seen in parliament.

Kathmandu, Aug 23: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has held discussions with the top leaders of the parties with national recognition on the topic of removing the deadlock seen in parliament.


The top leaders of the CPN (Maoist Center), Nepali Congress and the main opposition, CPN-UML and the chief whips of these parties are in attendance in the discussions underway at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar. Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, UML Chair KP Sharma Oli, Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Purna Bahadur Khadka, Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha and UML Vice-Chair Subash Chandra Nembang are present.

Also present in the discussions are the CPN (Maoist Center)'s Chief Whip Hitraj Pandey, Nepali Congress' Chief Whip Ramesh Lekhak, UML's Chief Whip Padam Giri and Rastriya Swatantra Party's Chief Whip Santosh Pariyar. The discussion is in progress now.
