KATHMANDU, Dec 13: The top leaders of three major political parties including Prime Minister and CPN (Maoist Center) Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal had a meeting today to discuss the matters relating to the constitution amendment and elections.
The meeting held in the PM's official residence Baluwatar ended in a positive note agreeing on holding next round of the meeting soon to seek a way out of the existing political imbroglio in the country, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba said after the meeting.
In his response to journalists' query whether the constitution amendment proposal was being withdrawn, he said the proposal would not be taken back now.
CPN (UML) Chair KP Sharma Oli said the meeting seriously discussed the issues of taking the country towards the election phase and formulating the election-related laws. RSS
