Take for example, Yash Raj banner’s recent release “Pyaar Impossible” is nothing else than a wrongly mixed spices of overrated dramas and clichéd expressions.[break]
Uday Chopra’s leading role in Pyaar Impossible is nothing else than maintaining some leftover space for him in Bollywood and that too because he is spoon-fed by the Yash Raj banner.
The same old story, a geek falling in love with a hottie of a college, failing to confess his attraction to her is nothing Wow to see in the movie. Perhaps it all becomes predictable when we come to realize Pyar Impossible is not just produced by Uday Chopra; in fact, Chopra is also the storywriter. If you have money in your pocket, you can make a film, no matter how stale and so not interesting it can turn out to be is what exactly Pyar Impossible gives an idea of. Sad but true that Chopra who has failed receiving any major offers by Bollywood’s who’s who filmmakers, even fails to deliver anything worth watching in his own home production.

Actor Jugal Hansraj who debuted himself as a director in “Roadside Romeo” fails badly as a mainstream moviemaker in Pyar Impossible. He reminds many of director David Dhawan when he shows up himself for nothing much important in the film.
Failing to express those “three words” Abhay Shamra (Uday), a socially challenged geek, makes himself convinced that he is a nerd, and Alisha (Priyanka Chopra) is the princess he will never have in his life. So he rather decides to forget her than confessing his love to her. This is where the pieces fall apart in the movie.
Seven years have gone. Abhay has no clue where Alisha is but he is still in love with her. Unlike Abhay’s father (Anupam Kher) who is a PC fanatic, Abhay is an Apple Buff. He makes extravagant software in these seven years and ironically it is stolen by Varun Sanghvi (Dino Morea) who is now selling Abhay’s software to a Singaporean company.
Abhay goes to Singapore to get his due credits and it is there he meets Alisha, now a divorced single mother, who turns out to be the head of public relations in the company he has come to visit.

Now and then, the movie leaves you puzzled about what the film is actually about. Is it about Pyaar being impossible or is it about some software that gets stolen! The scriptwriting and the screenplay go haywire here. Well, what can be expected from an actor turned producer and scriptwriter who has done nothing more than playing geeky roles in home productions!
Abhay becoming the nanny to Alisha’s daughter is completely out of comprehension and the chemistry that should have been there to make people feel Pyar Impossible is lost somewhere here. Sorry to say but the talent as a writer doesn’t go anywhere beyond Uday’s calibers as an actor. In the meantime, director Hansraj fails to build any sort of momentum in the film, which could give you goose bumps. Well, Jugal Hansraj is pretty young to understand that.
Salim and Sulaiman Merchant’s music is something good. However, that alone can’t make this movie a sensation. The production company has to understand this that it’s no more the era of Dil To Pagal Hai. All thanks to the ultra glamorous former Miss World Priyanka Chopra, because it’s just her in the movie who is seen acting. Did I forget to mention about Dino Morea! Oh I forgot to say, does he even exist in the film for anything good! With Pyar Impossible, it becomes clear that to expect a hit from Uday Chopra is just impossible.
