Tippers banned on valley roads in daytime from July 17

KATHMANDU, July 12: The Ministry of Home Affairs has prohibited the operation of tippers during the daytime in the three districts of the Kathmandu Valley.

This decision has been taken in a bid to stop the increasing accidents caused by tippers, the Ministry has stated. 


Home Ministry spokesman Ram Krishna Subedi on Wednesday called the office-bearers of the bodies concerned to the Ministry and directed them to impose a ban on the operation of tippers in Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur from 5 am to 8 pm. The ban comes into effect from July 17. RSS
