Jas Bahadur Limbu, Sandip Shrestha and Santosh Kunwar, all from Hansposa VDC in Sunsari, were nabbed after they broke into the room in New Tri Star Hotel in Itahari-5 where the girl was sleeping and raped her, according to police.[break]
“The youths beat two boys working in the hotel near the East-west Highway after drinking alcohol there and climbed upstairs to the second floor to rape the girl,” inspector Sagar Thapa said.
“They were held immediately after we were informed of the incident, Thapa added. Police are looking for an absconding fourth youth involved in the incident and said all will be tried for rape.
The rape victim has returned home following treatment at the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS), Dharan with injuries on face and all over the body.
