Three missing after car falls into Trishuli

CHITWAN, Sept 24: Three persons have gone missing and a person  injured when a car heading to Pokhara from Kathmandu fell into the Trishuli River on the Prithvi Highway at Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality-5, Nagdikhola.

The car fell into the river about 35 meters below the road when it went out of control at 11:45 PM on Thursday.

According to the District Police Office, the injured have been identified as Rudralal Subedi, 46, of Pokhara Metropolitan City-17. He is undergoing treatment at the College of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital in Bharatpur. The condition of the injured is moderate.

Prem Bahadur Bhujel, 60, Lekhram Bhujel, 55 and his wife Ishwori Bhujel, 36, of the same place were onboard the car. Police said that they went missing along with the car. The search for the missing is currently underway, according to police.
