Three killed, 21 hurt in Nawalparasi accident

CHITWAN, Dec 23: Three persons died on the spot and 21 others were injured in a bus accident at Dumkibas section of the East-West Highway in Nawalparasi district on Wednesday afternoon, police said. Three of the injured are in critical condition.



The bus (Na 2 Kha 7698) was traveling from Narayanghat to Butwal.



Two of those dead have been identified as Lekh Bahadur Saru, 18, and Hom Bahadur Dhega Magar, 50, of Mainaghat-5, Nawalparasi. Another 18-year-old youth dead in the accident has not been identified.



The injured are being treated in Butwal and Bharatpur.



The bus driver is at large.
