Lila Bahadur Kumal’s two daughters, Elina 14 and Melina 13 and his brother Gopi’s son Susan, 15, drowned in the stream, police said. Villagers called police for help as the incident happened. When police rescued the three, they were still alive but unconscious. They all died while undergoing treatment a nearby community hospital.
