Three girls go missing in Bagmati River in Rautahat

RAUTAHAT, Aug 23: Three girls have gone missing after being drowned in the Bagmati River at Dharampur of Rautahat district.

RAUTAHAT, Aug 23: Three girls have gone missing after being drowned in the Bagmati River at Dharampur of Rautahat district.


According to the District Police Office, Rautahat, Pinku Kumari Mukhiya, 10, Susita Kumari Das, 12, and Chanchal Kumari Mukhiya, 10, were drowned and went missing in the river when they were taking a bath at 12 pm on Sunday. They had dived into the river to escape the hot weather. However, they have gone missing. They all hail from Gadhimai Municipality-7, Dharampur Tole.

Rautahat Police chief, Superintendent of Police Rabiraj Khadka said that police personnel and locals have been searching for the missing girls following the incident.
