KATHMANDU, Nov 12: Three people died while two others sustained severe injuries in a road accident in Kalanki on Thursday morning.
The accident took place when a poultry truck (Ba 5 Kha 8865) en route to Sitapaila from Balkhu hit a truck (Ba 3 Kha 7530) park at a roadside at around 3.25 Thursday morning.
According to the Metropolitan Police, the deceased have been identified as Roshan Tamang, 24, Bhupendra Tamang, 27, and Madhab Ghimire, 37, from Nuwakot district.

They were immediately rushed to the Martyr Memorial Hospital Kalanki for treatment where they were pronounced dead at 4.30 am in course of the treatment.
Likewise, Rohan Tamang, 21, and Bijaya Tamang, 24, of the same district have sustained injuries and are undergoing treatment in the same hospital.
