SANKHUWASABHA, Sept 26: Three helicopters en route to Kathmandu from Sankhuwasabha made 'safe landing' at Khotang due to unfavorable weather conditions on Thursday.
The helicopters belonging to Altitude Air and Manag Air had gone to Sankhuwasabha for sightseeing of Arun-III and made a safe landing due to thick fogs and rain informed DSP Bam Dev Gautam of Khotang District Police Office.
The helicopter carrying the Nepali Congress General Secretary Dr. Shashank Koirala made a total of three landings at Baitar of Halesi Tuwachung, at the confluence of Likhu river and Manthali Airport of Ramechhap before reaching to the capital informed a parliamentary member Hira Gurung. Along with Dr. Koirala and parliamentary member Gurung, central member Chandra Bhandari and Bharat Gurung a president of Nawalparasi were on board after attending an awareness campaign organize at Khotang.
