KATHMANDU, August 5: A team of Nepal Police personnel have arrested three persons with a pistol from Gongabu area in Kathmandu.
A team deployed from the Metropolitan Police Circle, Maharajgunj, arrested Bipin Magar, 24, also known as Bikesh Magar, Mandeep Thapa, 25, and Sujan Magar, 19, of Dhading from RK Restaurant located at Aishwarya Marg, Gongabu on Wednesday evening.
Spokesperson at Kathmandu Metropolitan Police Office, SP Ramesh Kumar Basnet said that they were caught with a pistol while they were hiding in the RK restaurant after they fled a police checking site leaving behind a scooter they were riding.
Police have recovered a pistol, a magazine, five rounds of ammunition, two khukuri and marijuana from the arrestees. SP Basnet said that they were investigating the incident.
