Speaking at a face-to-face program organized by the Reporters´ Club at his residence on Monday, he said the country will not loose but the party would bear the biggest loss in staying away from the election.
On the occasion, Vice-president Jha also said that the President and the Vice-president could continue following the elections too based on a political consensus, and that the new constitution would be promulgated during his term of office. However, we are not in favour of lengthening the term of our office, he added.
He also expressed the confidence that the CA elections would be held as per schedule as the Nepali people, the parties and the international community are confident about it, and the government is working accordingly.
