Thapa appointed KU registrar

KATHMANDU, June 16: Kathmandu University (KU)’s engineering faculty dean Bhola Thapa has been appointed registrar of the university. He replaces Bhadra Man Tuladhar, who earlier resigned with his tenure one year and 10 months still remaining.



According to the university’s administrative head Mukunda Upadhyay, the government a day earlier sent KU a letter notifying the university about the new appointment to be effective from the same day. Chairman of Interim Election Council of Ministers Khil Raj Regmi by virtue of his office is chancellor of KU.
