KATHMANDU, Dec 15: Thailand government has waived off visa fee for tourists visiting the country from December 1 to February 28, 2017.
The Nepali Embassy in Bangkok in a statement on Thursday informed that the waiver will be applicable on a single entry visa.
“Nepalis visiting Thailand can also benefit from the waiver,” the Embassy said in the statement.
Thailand is a top touristic destination for Nepalis, with thousands visiting each year. According to the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), 25,455 Nepalis visited Thailand in 2013.
