Thai Nepali Foundation supports quake victims

KATHMANDU, May 20: Thai Nepali Foundation (TNF) based in Phuket, Thailand has supported quake victims in Nepal with relief materials including cash that worth over one million Bhat.

The TNF has handed a cash of 638420 Bhat to Bangkok based Nepali Embassy to Thailand, according to Milan Ghimire, secretary of TNF, Phuket. He informed that the cash handed over to the embassy has been deposited to the Prime Minister Relief Fund.

“We have also sent a truck loaded with dry food items and non-food items including clothes worth half a million Bhat to Nepal via the embassy,” Ghimire said.

According to him, the relief supports provided to the quake victims were collected from TNF members and non-resident Nepalis.
