JANAKPUR, Nov 25: Janakpur Provincial Hospital has turned tense following the death of a woman during childbirth. Tajabul Khatun, a 25-year-old resident of Bardaha Tole in Matihani Municipality, Mahottari, died at the hospital due to post-surgery complications.
Khatun was admitted to Janakpur Provincial Hospital after experiencing labor pains on Friday evening. According to Sakir Raeen, the brother of the deceased, Khatun underwent surgery at around 7 o'clock after being admitted to the provincial hospital. Unfortunately, she succumbed to profuse bleeding 12 hours after the operation.
Raeen stated, "We followed the doctor's suggestion to undergo surgery on Friday evening. After the surgery, everything seemed normal throughout the night. However, she started bleeding profusely in the morning and died immediately."

The family is now protesting outside the hospital, alleging negligence on the part of the doctor. The incident has created tension at the provincial hospital, and the doctors have not turned up at the hospital since Khatun's death.
The details about which doctor performed the surgery also remain unclear. The information provided by the hospital does not mention the name of the doctor. Khatun's body has been kept at the hospital.
The deceased Khatun gave birth to a son through surgery. The condition of the child is said to be normal.
