CHITWAN, July 11: A teenager drowned while swimming in the Budhi Rapti River in Chitwan on Wednesday afternoon. The deceased has been identified as 15-year-old Anmol Lamsal of Ratnanagar Municipality-9.

According to police, Lamsal was swept away while trying to retrieve his slipper that was carried by the current. His body was recovered about 200 meters downstream, confirmed DSP Rabindra Khanal of the District Police Office.
