Patel was abducted while returning home from Simraungadh and was shot in back at the bank of Jumaniya river. [break]
Sujit Koiri was with Patel at the time of abduction was left safe and police has controlled him for the investigation.
Indefinite strike
Meanwhile the teachers union Bara has called the indefinite strike demanding to nab the perpetrators soon.
Two killed in tractor accident
SURKHET, Oct 31: Two people died after an on-test tractor met with an accident at Chingang along Dhuliyabit-Bhedabari road Saturday night. Driver Kashi Ram Chitaure and 12-year-old Sagar Somai died in the accident that occurred at around 10 pm, police said. Three people were injured in the accident. The cause of the accident is unknown.
Minor raped
SIRAHA, Oct 31: A nine-year-old girl of Siraha-1 was raped by one Raj Kumar Das, 35, on Friday. The crime was made public by police Sunday. The girl is undergoing treatment at B P Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, according to Siraha District Police Office.
The girl is recovering, police said. According to Siraha police chief Ramesh Bhattarai, a special police team is searching for the rapist. A rape complaint has been lodged against the culprit. This is the second rape in the district in a month. Police haven´t been able to nab the culprits of both the cases.
