The victim has been identified as Brijkishor Yadav, SP Lokendra Malla of District Police Office, Bara told Republica.
Yadav has been undergoing treatment at Narayani Sub-Regional Hospital in Birgunj. He is out of danger. Yadav is a Nepali Congress supporter.
Police said they have launched a manhunt for the culprit and investigating into the case.te
