NUWAKOT, June 17: Radhika Acharya of Dupcheshwor Rural Municipality-6, Nuwakot, died after falling into a river along with her scooter when she was on her way to school.
According to Rupak Khadka, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Acharya, 35, was killed in the accident when her scooter( Ba 97 Pa 6925) fell off a cliff and was washed away by the Tadi River. She was on her way to teach at Sundara Secondary School.
Police said they could not save her even after she was rescued from 500 meter below. She was a permanent teacher in the lower level of the school.
