School teacher arrested for thrashing his student

POKHARA, July 23: A teacher of a private boarding school was arrested for allegedly thrashing his student for not completing his homework in Pokhara on Tuesday.

Police arrested Shree Ram Tripathi, 25 working at Hemja Boarding School for allegedly thrashing the 14-year-old student inside the classroom. He was arrested after his guardians lodged a complaint to the police against the teacher. The injured student is undergoing treatment.
