Tata Sumo accident: Three including mother and son killed (Update)

The deceased have been identified as Maya Devi Gurung, 56, her son Pujan Gurung and her sister Tara Gurung, 45. Police said that the vehicle was carrying Maya Devi, her son Pujan and her sister Tara, to Kathmandu from Khotang after Pujan fell ill.

KATHMANDU, Jan 30: A Tata Sumo heading to Kathmandu from Khotang met with an accident at Bhandare Khola in Manebhanjyang Rural Municipality-7 in Okhaldhunga on Thursday morning.


The vehicle was travelling from Diktel in Khotang to Kathmandu, carrying a patient when it met with the accident. According to police, three people, including a mother and her son, died in the accident.
