Secretary Dhan Bahadur Tamang would lead a panel formed to reduce damages caused by road accidents while secretary at the Ministry of Commerce and Supplies Lalmani Joshi would head a panel formed to regulate and manage the supply system and control skyrocketing price hike.
According to Jaya Mukunda Khanal, secretary at the Prime Minister´s Office (PMO), a taskforce has been formed under the secretary at the National Planning Commission to suggest on the management of the trade unions.
Similarly, secretary at the Ministry of General Administration would lead a panel that has been formed to ensure the presence of officials in the government offices in the remote districts.
Khanal said that a taskforce has been formed under the secretary at the Water and Energy Commission to implement the citizen charter with compensation as per the section 25 of the Good Governance Act-2064 B.S
Likewise, the government formed a taskforce under the leadership of Chief Officer at the National Vigilance Center to end dillydallying and irregularities in Land Revenue Offices, Department of Foreign Employment, Office of the Company Registrar and district administration offices.
Khanal said that the taskforces were formed for speedy service delivery from the government offices and reduce state expenditure.
