TAPLEJUNG, March 11: Fire that broke out this morning at local Kopche village in Phungling, the district headquarters of Taplejung, has been brought under control now. The fire was brought under control jointly by the fire brigades, Nepal Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force (APF) personnel.

Chulimaya Limbu, 67, who was hurt in the fire that occurred at local Kopche Bazaar passed away at the District Hospital while undergoing treatment.
The fire reportedly started from a house of a local resident Rabin Aangbohang. The actual cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, according to police.
