Tandukar, who represented Edmark Academy, won gold in the college-level girls´ 100m race (14.6 seconds), silver in 400m (1 minute 15.2 seconds) and bronze in long jump (3.21 meters).
Ashish Chaudhary of Nightingale Higher Secondary School won the college-level boys´ 100m sprint clocking 11.5 seconds and also won gold in long jump with a leap of 6.52 meters. Suman Tiwari of KMC College won the boys´ 400m race while Sangita Tiwari won the race in the girls´ section. Mina Kumari Mahato of Nawalparasi secured first position in girls´ long jump.
Similarly, Prakash Khatri of IJ Pioneer School bagged gold medals in middle school boys´ 100m and 200m sprints. Lujhala Amatya of Ideal Model School also won both the 100m and 200m golds in the girls´ section. Anil Chaudhary of Nightingale School won the boys´ long jump while Bhawana Lama of Mangal High School achieved the same feat in the girls´ section.
The event was jointly organized by Nepal Anti-Tuberculosis Association, Lalitpur Amateur Athletics Association and Patan Jaycees.
