Tamang to lead renbukai karate

KATHMANDU: Meena Tamang has been elected unopposed as the president of Nepal Renbukai Karate Do Association on Saturday. The first general assembly of the association held on Saturday at Nagarkot also elected a 13-member executive committee unanimously.



Premlal Bamjan is co-president, Bhagwati Pradhan senior vice-president and Mukunda Bahadur Pahari vice-president. [break]



Likewise, Reshamlal Lama is general secretary, Sushmita Gurung secretary and Raj Kumar Tamang is the treasurer in the new committee. The executive committee will get full shape after the nominations of eight members including two vice-presidents and six members.



Altogether 47 representatives from 19 districts and central level participated in the assembly.
