Taekwondo kits distributed

KATHMANDU, Nov 9: Former taekwondo player Deepak Bista on Tuesday distributed taekwondo kits worth Rs 2.5 million to nine districts of Far Western Region, according to National Sports Council.

KATHMANDU, Nov 9: Former taekwondo player Deepak Bista on Tuesday distributed taekwondo kits worth Rs 2.5 million to nine districts of Far Western Region, according to National Sports Council.



The South Asian Games (SAG) record holder Bista distributed 400 pairs of taekwondo gis, 64 sets of mats, 10 chest pads, 20 taekwondo pads, 100 footballs and 20 volleyballs.



The sports gears were distributed with the support from World Taekwondo Federation, Child Reach Organization, Far Western Society Australia, Sports Universe and support from few individuals.



Meanwhile, Bista was also felicitated by Far Western Regional Sports Development Committee on the same day.
