In the last league matches of the women’s category, TAC defeated Western Region 2-0 in which Tanka Maya Khapangi and Pinky Sinjali bagged a goal each. Likewise, Central beat defending champion Far-western Region 1-0 courtesy a goal from Nerita Basnet.

TAC reached the final finishing first with 12 points in the tournament played in round robin league format. Central accumulated seven points and became second. Also, Western claimed third spot with same points but lower ranking due to less goal difference, and Far-western grabbed fourth place. Western will now take on Far-western for the third place.

Meanwhile, in men’s category, Western finished third as it defeated Eastern on sudden death. The match was pushed to penalty shootout as the teams played a goal-less draw in the regulated 70 minutes.
