Swami Ram Dev and Acharya Bal Krishna in town

KATHMANDU, Nov 18: Swami Ramdev and his close aide Acharya Bal Krishna have arrived in Kathmandu on Thursday on a three-day visit to Nepal.

KATHMANDU, Nov 18:  Swami Ramdev and his close aide Acharya Bal Krishna have arrived in Kathmandu on Thursday on a three-day visit to Nepal.


Swami Ram Dev is scheduled to take part in the function to inaugurate broadcast two TV channels named Aastha Nepal TV and Patanjali Nepal TV in Nepal. While Aastha Nepal TV will be religious in its content, Patanjali Nepal TV will operate as a commercial TV with all kinds of programs including news and entertainment programs.

Indian Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari, who also arrived in Kathmandu on Thursday, is scheduled to inaugurate the two TV Channels. Sources said Gadkari is also expected to hold meeting with a key political leaders before flying back to New Delhi on Friday afternoon.


Swami Ram Dev and his aide Acharya Bal Krishna are scheduled to visit Syangja on Thursday to inspect a project being developed by Patanjali group. They are scheduled to return home on Saturday.
