NEPALGUNJ, March 23: A man died in Nepalgunj on Monday afternoon when a “pressure cooker” bomb he was allegedly placing at the Transport Management Office in Nepalgunj went off suddenly. The deceased has been identified as Istiyak Khan, according to police.
“We were busy with our work and we heard a big blast. We jumped out the window in panic,” said Dhan Prasad Dhital, an officer present at the building.
The blast has completely destroyed the store of the office along with two motorcycles.
Superintendent of Police, Dilip Kumar Sharma said Khan is the bomber and died while placing the bomb in the office.
