KATHMANDU, July 12: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has arrested Sanjiv Kumar Yadav, a surveyor at the Survey Office in Lagankhel, Lalitpur, for accepting a bribe of Rs 400,000.

The CIAA reported that Yadav, along with accountant Ram Babu Bhujel, was caught on Thursday while accepting the amount from a service-seeker.

Following the arrest, the CIAA has taken control of the situation and is currently conducting further investigations at the Survey Office located in Ward No-12, Hanumansthan, Lagankhel.
