BARA, Dec 6: The Commission for Investigation of Abuse and Authority (CIAA) on Tuesday arrested a land surveyor from Kalaiya, Bara while taking Rs 5,000 bribe from a service seeker.
Radheshyam Shah, a surveyor Land Survey Office, Kalayia was arrested by a CIAA team from Hetauda while taking the bribe from a service recipient.
Shah had asked for the bribe with the service recipient in order to finalize his works at Kalaiya Municipality-20, Bakulhar, said DSP Mahendra Khadka.
Chief at Land Surveyor Office, Kalaiya Rambinaya Kumar Singh said that the incident took place while he was not in the office, adding that he is unknown about it.
