Supreme Court justices in home quarantine

KATHMANDU, Oct 4: Some of the justices in the Supreme Court have contracted the novel coronavirus.



According to the press statement issued by the Supreme Court, some of its justices, officers and employees have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and are currently in home isolation.

According to the sources at SC, Justice Purushotam Bhandari and three other employees have tested positive for the virus.


In a view of COVID-19 transmission, SC has decided to conduct a single bench hearing from Monday.


Earlier on Sunday, three key advisors of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and 74 security personnel at the PM office had also tested positive for the virus.
