KATHMANDU, Sept 4: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs, Bimalendra Nidhi, has said that support of civil servants was necessary for the implementation of the constitution.



Addressing a program organized here today on the occasion of the 27th anniversary of the Nepal Civil Employee's Association, DPM Nidhi said that problems would be resolved by holding talks with Madhesi Morcha before constitution implementation.



He said, "The main priority of the government is to hold three-level elections by addressing the concerns of Madhesi Morcha in the constitution.



Priority will also be given to post-quake reconstruction task and remaining task of peace process.



Civil servants should work in a fair manner to complete such tasks."



Similarly, NC leader and lawmaker Kamala Panta suggested that the NC ministers should maintain their influence in the government.



Association Chairman Subodh Kumar Devkota, former Chairmen—Bhawani Prasad Thani and Bhanubhakta Dhakal, among others stressed that government employees should be involved in providing public-oriented services.



On the occasion, a souvenir 'Karmachari' was released as well as former Secretaries—Madhav Prasad Regmi and Bishwo Prakash Pandit, former Under Secretary Ramhari Aryal and section officers—Shyam Jung Karki and Sudarshan Dawadi, among others were honored. RSS
