KATHMANDU, Dec 9: Sudurpaschim Royals reached the final of the second edition of the Nepal Premier League after defeating Biratnagar Kings by 77 runs.
In the first qualifying match held at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground on Tuesday, Sudurpaschim Royals avenged Biratnagar Kings for the group-stage thrashing by defeating the opponent with a huge margin in this crucial match.

Opting to bat first, Sudurpaschim Royals set a modest target of 156 runs. In response, the Royals’ disciplined bowling helped them bundle out Biratnagar Kings for just 78 runs in 14.1 overs.
Bowlers Harmeet Singh, Scott Kuggeleijin and Avinash Bohara each took two wickets for Sudurpaschim Royals. Hemant Dhami and Dipendra Singh Airee took one wicket each.
