He added 6.5 points in his kitty in the seven round tourney. Sudip defeated Tilak Khadka of OCCED Nepal in the sixth round and in last he downed Surendra Duwas of his own child home.
Similarly, Bijay Lama of Concern Nepal secured the second spot with 5.5 points. Bijay beat Susan Bahadur Nepali in the sixth round and shared point with Rajkumar Lama of Concern Nepal.

Likewise, Surendra Duwas secured third position with five points and 23 progressive points. Surendra edged out Ashis Ghimire of Asahay Tatha Anath Balbalika Samrakshan Foundation in the sixth round.
Rajkumar Lama of Concern Nepal and Susan Bahadur Nepali of Paropakar came fourth and fifth with five points and 22 progressive points and five points and 21 progressive points respectively.
Sagar Duwas of BCS, Santosh Chaudhary of OCCED, Rabi Magar of Nepal Rugmark Foundation, Tilak Khadka of OCCED and Ritesh Shahi of Bal Ujjwal Bhavishya bagged the sixth to tenth positions respectively.
The tournament was jointly organized by Nepal Chess Association, OCCED Nepal and OCCED Nepal Lions Club.

KATHMANDU, Sept 2: The National Sports Council has nominated Tarakmani Dixit as the secretary of the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN). The post of secretary had been vacant since former secretary Sashidutta Pandey died of jaundice on August 8.
