KATHMANDU, June 25: The Ministry of Education has urged all agitating relief quota teachers to call off their agitation and return to work.

The agitating teachers have been demanding salary and dearness allowance on a par with their colleagues teaching in community schools.

The ministry in a press release on Friday said that effort to gather necessary resources was underway and urged the teachers to return to work as the task to release fund is being delayed due to technical reasons.

Fund will be released to teachers working under relief quota in rural districts on a par with their colleagues of community schools, the statement stated.
